Nestled on a picturesque island just a short journey from London, Giovanna embarked on a remarkable project to transform a family home into an exquisite country retreat. Her mission was to create a welcoming haven where extended family and friends could gather and make lasting memories.
Drawing inspiration from nature, Giovanna wove her signature palette of soothing sage green, warm Mediterranean terracotta, and crisp raw linen throughout the space. The result is a sophisticated, open-plan home that effortlessly accommodates the needs of a diverse and vibrant family.
The renovated house boasts a series of thoughtfully designed spaces: a refined library for work and study, a spacious kitchen with breathtaking views, an elegant dining room for entertaining, and cosy bedrooms covered in tapestries that reflect the surrounding nature.
Working closely with her client, Giovanna skillfully preserved cherished existing features and beloved furniture pieces, seamlessly blending them into the new design. This harmonious approach has created a home that radiates sophistication while staying true to the family's unique character and history.
